WHO WE ARE
Durham Black Students' Network (DBSN) connects Black and marginalized youth within the Durham Region with the community resources that are necessary for their personal and professional development. DBSN addresses the resource and opportunity gap through a variety of leadership opportunities in order to provide transferable life skills, accessible developmental experiences, and the support and motivation required to advance personal growth and success. DBSN's programming is composed of weekly interactive sessions, mentorship with local Black professionals, academic advising, and goal setting support. By building a strong and stable network and community of support, DBSN is able to help cultivate the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.
